June 25 to August 6, 2004 The exhibit consisted of 10 large sculptures and five small ones made from scrap metal including used auto parts and farm implements. The subject matter of the sculptures include a dinosaur, warrior, turtle, horny toad, bird bath and some abstract pieces. Powers' work has been shown at the Mabee Gerrer Museum in Shawnee, Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum in Woodward, the Math and Science School in Oklahoma City, the Gallery of Fine Arts in the mall in Enid, Northern Oklahoma College Performing Arts Center in Tonkawa, Redlands Community College in Reno, The Museum of the Plains in Perryton, Texas, Kirkpatrick Galleries at the Omniplex in Oklahoma City and at the Meade County Historical Museum in Meade, Kan. |
