About APC
Our Mission
The mission of Artsplace Ponca City (APC) is to
educate and involve audiences in the visual arts. APC serves as a
catalyst and forum for the advancement, development and understanding
of contemporary art. In partnership with artist and community, APC
takes a leadership role in shaping culture by: encouraging a dynamic
relationship between art and society, by showing significant new
artworks by regional artists and providing a public forum for
discussing new trends and issues in contemporary visual arts.
APC
fosters creative excellence through temporary exhibitions and projects
of significant regional scope. Through innovative outreach and
education programs, APC serves as a vital community resource by
bringing artists, their work, and the community together in meaningful
experiences of sharing and learning.
